Two years ago, we changed out our solid, sheetrocked stairways and put in oak stairrails, and trim. The following year we finished our basement and made a Seminary room so Jim could teach early morning Seminary. Neither of us are noted for finishing a job completely before we move on to something else, and there has been several peices of trim on the stairway and the basement that needed to be completed. Last week while I was watching another HGTV show about what to do to get your house ready to sell, and all of the tricks (35 of them) that will help to sell a house, I realized that these trim projects needed to be finished. With absolutely no idea how to hook up the compressor, and use the nail gun that is in my garage, I decided to tackle it with an old fashioned miter box and hand saw. Today I completed the job. With help from the Home Depot guy, the paint lady at Menards, and the guidance of Jim, via phone, the trim is up !!! Yeah !!! now if only someone would actually walk through the house and look at the great job I did, make us an offer, and let us get on with the rest of our lives in Idaho. (if only!)
Go mom!!! You are (and always have been) quite the homemaker. Love you. Keep busy.
